We had an amazing week for #BMHW20. Each day we had live conversations with Black women working to advance Black Maternal and Infant Health. We talked to some amazing dynamic women. These are some of the things we learned about what they are up to.
Let's continue the conversations and push these initiatives forward.
Wholistic (yes I meant to spell it this way) health is when your physical, mental emotional and spiritual health are in alignment and operating at optimal levels. All aspects work together to make a person whole.
It is only when you practice self love that you can truly experience the highest levels of health. When you prioritize your well-being something magical begins to happen.
Living a whole life is not for the faint of heart. Staying the course can be a challenge. I want you to know that It is ok to lean on others for support and there is nothing wrong with asking for a little bit of help every now and then. Learn how I can support you as you become a healthier and whole you.
Self love is always important. But its crucial during pregnancy and the postpartum period. As a birth and Postpartum Doula I can help you plan for a wholistic birth experience and help you take better care of yourself as you transition into the postpartum period and beyond.
